VIETNAM TEAM WINS PRIZE AT CHINA-ASEAN INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETITION

Speaking at the ceremony held in Jakarta, Pham Thi Nhu Trang said that Brain Analytics initially aimed to receive support from the Asian medical and startup community, to develop the project outside Vietnam, while seeking funding to build a local database to improve the efficiency of the product.

VIETNAMESE PROJECTS WIN THREE "IMPACTFUL SOCIAL INNOVATIVE CONCEPTS" AWARDS

Social Business Creation 2021 is a global competition to promote social business creation organised by HEC Montréal Canada. Among Việt Nam’s three projects, International University in HCM City had two projects, including one on herb-based pesticides for green agriculture and the other on a website platform using artificial intelligence (AI) to detect Alzheimer’s disease. ​

CO-FOUNDER OF BRAIN ANALYTICS RECEIVES L'OREAL UNESCO AWARD
November 26th, 2022
Each received a prize of 150 million VND (6,057 USD) to conduct further research and ensure benefits for the country. The three scientists were chosen from hundreds of applications across the country. The selection is based on their achievements, the publication of their research in international magazines and the scientist activities that they have taken part in so far.

BRAIN ANALYTICS WINS 2ND PRIZE AT HCM CREATIVE AWARD
December 05th, 2021
Dr. Ha Thi Thanh Huong, representative of the team shared: “To extract brain features, we use the highly reliable open source software FreeSurfer developed by a research team from Harvard University. After extracting the brain features, we will use machine learning and deep learning algorithms to train and learn the appropriate patterns to predict the disease."

TEACHERS AND STUDENTS JOINTLY CREATED SOFTWARE TO DIAGNOSE ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE TO WIN INTERNATIONAL PRIZE

This competition aims to find technology startups from around the world with innovative ideas for products and services in the fields of robotics, healthcare, food. and agriculture. The project "Brain Analytics" was awarded the Sun* Award with a cash value of S$2,500. This is the only healthcare project at this year's contest to receive one of six awards from the program and one of only two projects that have not yet established a company but still receive financial support from partners.

AWARDING THE HCMC ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLICATION INNOVATION PROJECT CONTEST

According to the Organizing Committee, HAI-2020 has received 108 project applications registered to attend. The jury selected 50 outstanding projects to the next round and presented them to leading experts in the field. After that, 20 outstanding projects were selected for the semi-finals and participated in incubation at the incubators. These projects are in many fields such as healthcare, transportation, agriculture, retail, etc. with the common characteristics of being highly practical. After 3 months of incubation, the teams completed more projects and entered the final round. ​
